History:
A visionary idea. This was the basis of La Lampe, founded in 1987. Transcending the typical store design of the time, which offered lighting concepts restricted to chandeliers and lamps, La Lampe strove to integrate lighting and architecture. The company also imagined a concept that offered complete solutions, from design to final installation – a significant innovation. This combination of avant-garde vision and impeccable product quality has been largely responsible for lifting La Lampe to the rank of leader in the lighting market in Brazil. More than providing beautiful decorative pieces, La Lampe produces dreams, scenarios, sensations, employing details that are subtle yet relevant, like the sunlight. Through the poetic and humorous perspective of studio Nada Se Leva designers and curators of the collection, André Bastos and Guilherme Leite Ribeiro, the brand remains fresh and linked with the new desires of contemporary man. Joined with these designers’ daring creations is the bold work of the Slovenian Nika Zupanc, the young German Mathias Hahn and the Italian master Vico Magistretti. More recently, La Lampe also made a strong commitment to foster national designers, promoting genuinely Brazilian creations. Looking to the future while continuing to venerate the great names of the past, the brand continues to forge traditional partnerships with international companies like Fontana Arte, Cassina Lighting, Artemide and Vertigo Bird, among others. To further strengthen the positioning of this brand which is a landmark in the fantastic world of lighting, what better than an architectural design that reflects the magnitude of that spirit. Designer Marcelo Rosenbaum has taken on the immensity of this mission, imagining and creating the façade and interior of La Lampe’s headquarters and franchises. The bold conception features different rooms that value the unique qualities of each piece and yet still play with the varied sensory experiences proposed by the products.
