Adalberto dal Lago was born in Milan in 1937. He gained a degree in architecture from Milan
Polytechnic, where he also worked as assistant to the Chair of Architecture of Interiors,
Furnishings and Decoration, and subsequently assistano and professor to the Chair of Elements of Composition.
He has acted as the co-ordinator of numerous Architecture and Design exhibitions and speaker at international conventions and congresses, as well as being the author of many publications on architecture, design and decoration. He has edited the magazine "Rassegna - Modi di Abitare
oggi" and the "Technology/Design" section of the magazine "L'Architettura-Cronache e Storia"
edited by Bruno Zevi.

In the field of industrial design, Adalberto Dal Lago has acted for many years as a consultant for large companies throughout the world, in the creation of new furnishings and textile, vinyl and ceramic products; as well as setting colour trends in many sectors of car and motorcycle design and styling.
Graphic design activities range from operations on single products – logos, packaging and
catalogues – to company image co-ordination and promotional and publishing initiatives for
companies working in the architecture, furnishing and design sectors.
